[Madison, WI] — Since receiving the endorsement of the grassroots delegates at the 2018 WISGOP convention, Leah Vukmir has been hard at work earning the support of conservative voters statewide. Over the course of the last week, Vukmir and WISGOP Chairman Brad Courtney traveled throughout Wisconsin to meet Republican volunteers ahead of today’s primary election. Together, they made stops at businesses, community events, and WISGOP field offices in Green Bay, Chilton, Rhinelander, Neillsville, Chippewa Falls, Hudson, Alto, Green Lake, Reedsburg, Madison, Dodgeville, Janesville, Franklin, La Crosse, Eau Claire, Weston, Shawano, Stevens Point, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Appleton, Fond du Lac, Kenosha, Elkhorn, Racine, Waukesha and Wauwatosa.
Check out some of the news of where they’ve been:
From WEAU: Vukmir made the visit today at the Eau Claire Republican Party of Wisconsin office on London Road with chairman of the organization, Brad Courtney. Saturday’s stop is one of nearly 30 Vukmir is making during her final days of campaigning.
From WSAW: “I think it’s really important to look at results and what we have done here in Wisconsin. I call it an economic miracle what we have done here, transforming our state. I’m proud to have been a part of it,” said Vukmir.
From WKBT: “As a nurse and somebody who understand healthcare pretty well having worked in it through all my years… It’s my first profession… Tammy Baldwin’s going to have a hard time talking about healthcare reform. I know how to talk about it, and her solutions aren’t the solutions that will help Wisconsin,” said Vukmir.
From Leader-Telegram: Vukmir emphasized her support for President Donald Trump saying that she will stand by him in an effort to build a U.S.-Mexico border wall and repeal the Affordable Care Act.
