More spending and higher taxes with Evers, more jobs and higher wages with Walker
November 1, 2018
[Madison, WI]— Thanks to Governor Walker’s bold leadership, wages are higher and more people are working this year than ever before. Now, he has a bold agenda to keep Wisconsin working for generations to come. In contrast, Tony Evers’ failed leadership would take Wisconsin backward with more spending and higher taxes.
“Whether it’s plagiarism, his hypocritical investments, or his plans to raise taxes on Wisconsin families, Tony Evers has consistently shown empty promises and failed leadership,” said Alec Zimmerman Spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “The Wisconsin comeback is real. Because of Governor Walker’s bold leadership, property and income taxes are lower, wages are higher, unemployment has been at or below 3 percent for eight straight months, and this year there were more people working than ever before. Tony Evers would stop the Wisconsin comeback in its tracks and take Wisconsin back to the days of high unemployment and even higher taxes. Wisconsin cannot afford Tony Evers.”
