It is rumored that Feingold has been plotting a return to power for months. In an interview, Senator Jon Tester (D-Montana), Chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, said that his conversations with Feingold date back to January, while Feingold was still serving as Special Envoy to the Great Lakes Region of Africa.
As a Senator, Feingold accomplished nothing in 18 years. Now, he wants voters to believe things will be different the second time around.
Feingold was consistently on the wrong side of hard-working families – supporting big-government policies that dramatically increased taxes and spending. His support for Obamacare is a classic hallmark of his failed legacy.
Continuing his record of voting for massive increases in taxes and spending, Feingold acted as the deciding vote on Obamacare – which imposed nearly $1 trillion in new taxes and fees on hard-working Americans. The law is a boondoggle, and it has been riddled with errors, delays, and additional costs from the start.
Now, Feingold is Running Away to California
Professor Russ Feingold officially began teaching at Stanford University in California. This move comes in advance of Feingold’s impending Wisconsin run for the U.S. Senate in 2016. Feingold has spent minimal time in Wisconsin since his defeat in 2010, and he has already moved on to the West Coast – where, ironically, he will plot his effort to convince Wisconsinites to give his failed record a second chance. Wisconsin already rejected Russ Feingold’s radical tax-and-spend agenda once for good reason, and he was consistently one of the most liberal members of the U.S. Senate.
