Liberals pander to far-left base, abandon hard working Wisconsin families
August 7, 2018
[Madison, WI] — One week until primary day, the Democrat candidates for governor are entering the closing days of their battle for the party’s nomination and are locked into a dangerous race to the left. From failing to protect children in our schools and places of worship, to their plans that would release violent criminals onto our streets, these candidates have adopted reckless policies that are dangerous to Wisconsin families.
From the La Crosse Tribune: The Wisconsin GOP is expected to launch a series of radio ads today targeting four Democratic candidates for governor, offering a glimpse of who the party expects to emerge from the Aug. 14 primary. Ads airing in the La Crosse and Eau Claire markets will go after state school Superintendent Tony Evers and firefighters union president Mahlon Mitchell, while ads in Milwaukee and Green Bay will focus on former party director Matt Flynn and former state Rep. Kelda Roys.
From Politico Morning Score: Eight Democrats are vying for the chance to challenge Gov. Scott Walker, but for a sign on who the state Republican Party is keeping an eye on, look at its new slate of radio ads attacking four candidates: Tony Evers (ad), Matt Flynn (ad), Mahlon Mitchell (ad) and Kelda Roys (ad).
From Media Trackers: “Whether it’s Tony Evers failing families, Matt Flynn bullying victims of sexual abuse, Mahlon Mitchell abusing his position, or Kelda Roys putting families in danger, Democrats are locked into a dangerous race to the left,” said Mark Morgan, Executive Director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Wisconsin voters can’t trust any one of these candidates to keep them safe or fight for their best interests.”
From WisPolitics AM Update: In the Evers ad, a man and a woman say Evers failed when “families needed” him and didn’t revoke the license of a teacher “spreading” pornography at school and making comments about the bodies of middle-school girls.
