Inexperience as a prosecutor should give Wisconsinites pause
October 16, 2018
[Madison, WI] — As a prosecutor in Baltimore, Josh Kaul only worked a handful of cases. At today’s debate, Wisconsinites got to see first-hand how thin Kaul’s record really is. Kaul is a political hack who was Hillary Clinton’s lawyer in Wisconsin, and his record as a prosecutor proves that he’s a soft-on-crime liberal. Time and again Kaul has shown that he doesn’t have what it takes to be our attorney general.
“Josh Kaul is an inexperienced political hack who doesn’t have anywhere near the qualifications necessary to be the state’s attorney general,” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “His soft-on-crime plea deals for narcotics kingpins alone are disqualifying. The fact that he’s rarely faced a jury to make a closing argument shows he isn’t up to keeping Wisconsin families safe. Attorney General Brad Schimel is a career prosecutor who has locked up criminals and cleaned up our streets – he’s Our Attorney General.”
