Announcement of plans for facilities in Eau Claire, Green Bay

[Madison, WI] — Foxconn has announced plans to open anotherfacility, this time in Eau Claire. This follows a previous announcement from the company of plans to open an innovation center in Green Bay. On top of that, Foxconn’s initial investment has plans that involve workers from nearly every countyin Wisconsin. Thanks to Scott Walker’s leadership, the Foxconn bonus is being felt in every corner of Wisconsin.

From WEAU: Big news for Eau Claire as Foxconn announced it is purchasing two properties in the downtown area. Governor Walker and Foxconn officials made the announcement at Phoenix Park, Monday.
From the Leader Telegram:Foxconn Technology Group is buying a historic downtown Eau Claire building and space in the Haymarket Landing building as part of an expansion that will create 150 jobs. The company announced it is expanding its Wisconn Valley Innovation Network to west-central Wisconsin as part of its initiative to spur innovation, attract talent and connect with supply chain partners, according to a statement

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Walker, who was on hand for Monday’s announcement, has repeatedly pointed to developments such as those in Eau Claire, Green Bay and Milwaukee as evidence that Foxconn will benefit more areas than Racine County.
