Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has been making his way throughout the state for his ‘Working’ bus tour where he’s been talking to voters about what he says is keeping Wisconsin strong.
Walker was at Ace’s on 29th Saturday to interact with Superior residents.
The Republican governor discussed the difficult year it’s been for the state with events like the Husky Refinery explosion and the floods, but emphasized how Wisconsin has remarkably moved forward over the years.
“People want to continue to have more job and higher wages. I’m pleased that our wage growth outpaces nearly every other state in the country and that we outpace the national rate, and that we have more people working than ever before,” Walker said.
