Glenn Grothman fights for Wisconsin families, D.C. Dan fights for Washington

[Madison, WI] — Ahead of tonight’s Sixth Congressional District debate, Wisconsin has had a first-hand look at what a train wreck D.C. Dan Kohl would be if he was in congress. Kohl’s ties to Washington run deep – he’s the nephew of a former long-time, do-nothing U.S. Senator, he started a special interest group that gives millions of dollars to liberals running for office, and he’s been a big-time bundler for Democrat presidential candidates. On top of that, Kohl pushes radical left-wing policies that would hurt Wisconsin taxpayers.
“D.C. Dan Kohl is as Washington as they come – now he wants voters to send him back to the swamp where he’s most comfortable,” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Kohl’s liberal policies would hike taxes on Wisconsin families and hurt our state. In fact, the last time he ran for office he supported what was dubbed the largest tax increase in state history. Wisconsin families can’t afford Dan Kohl in Congress.”
D.C. Dan is an Extreme Liberal Insider
- Kohl was the co-founder of the dark money group J Street that funnels millions of dollars in cash to Democrats.
- Despite trying to pass themselves off as pro-Israel, J Street lobbied for the failed Iran Nuclear Deal.
- As a candidate for State Assembly, Kohl supported a government takeover of health care that was dubbed the largest tax increase in state history.
- Now Kohl says he supports universal health care in Wisconsin, but won’t say what path he’ll take to get there – leaving us only to believe that he’ll end private insurance for millions and put the government in charge.
