WISGOP Launches Digital Ads Highlighting “Feingold Foundation”
Feingold is for Feingold, he’s not for you
[Madison, Wis.] –– The Republican Party of Wisconsin has launched a digital ad buy highlighting Russ Feingold’s Foundation, which took in over $3,000,000 in taxpayer-funded salaries for the former Senator.
“Senator Feingold wrongfully attacks Ron Johnson for building a company, creating jobs and being an active part of growing Wisconsin’s economy, but Feingold can’t escape the fact that he himself took taxpayers for a $3 million dollar ride in exchange for broken promises and empty rhetoric over the course of his long career in Washington, D.C.,” said Pat Garrett, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Feingold admits he built an enterprise over his political career, he just doesn’t tell taxpayers that they were the ones who had to foot the bill.”
“Feingold Foundation” Facts: Fueled by taxpayers
- Over his career, Senator Feingold has collected more than $3 million from taxpayers and all Wisconsinites have to show for it are broken promises and blatant hypocrisies.
- Despite his nearly two decades in Washington, Senator Feingold has little to show and struggles to name any serious accomplishments.
Senator Feingold wrongfully comes after Ron Johnson’s business, but omits the millions of dollars he himself took in from hardworking taxpayers. The ads will be hitting various social media platforms and will direct voters to www.feingoldfoundation.com.
