Democrat Candidates for Governor Looking to Empower Special Interests
October 26, 2017
[Madison, WI]—Governor Scott Walker is delivering big wins for Wisconsin taxpayers. By the end of 2018, Wisconsin will have cut taxes by more than $8 billion thanks to Walker’s bold reforms. Meanwhile, Democrats running for governor are all staking out extremely liberal positions that would undo these reforms, as they battle each other for their party’s nomination.
“Governor Walker has delivered big wins that put hard-working Wisconsin families first –cutting taxes by over $8 billion dollars by the end of 2018 and making a historic investment into our classrooms,” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Democrats running for governor would undo the bold reforms of Governor Walker, empowering liberal special interests and offering nothing more than the same failed policy ideas of yesterday.”
