Update: The Left’s Attempt to Hijack Wisconsin’s Presidential Election is Falling Flat
[Madison, Wis.] – According to local media, over a third of the recount has been completed and very little has changed. The Left’s efforts to steal this election are falling flat and now they may resort to even more desperate tactics to delay the recount as they begin their push to deny certifying Wisconsin’s 10 Electoral Votes.
“As the recount continues and the margin doesn’t change, Hillary Clinton and her allies are running out of excuses,” said Pat Garrett, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “It’s unlikely that their desperate efforts to delay the results of the election come to an end; and instead, they will continue to undermine the will of the voters. The people of Wisconsin saw through their empty rhetoric and pathetic stunts once before, and the recount will be no different.”
Four Days Later, a Lot of Money Spent With Little Change
- This recount will cost the Green Party over $3.5 million dollars, and has already forced Wisconsin County Clerks to spend countless hours overseeing this process.
- Four days into the recount, there has been little change to the margin. Donald Trump is reported to have increased his lead by 38 votes or a .0013% change to the margin of victory.
- Despite this obvious waste of time, the Left seems hell-bent on trying to save face either with baseless conspiracy theories or misleading rhetoric about the need for a recount.
- The Wisconsin recount is supposed to end on December 12th, giving Hillary Clinton and her liberal allies little time left to win back public opinion.
Wisconsin Republicans remain committed to protecting the integrity of the election process and will work against any efforts to steal the election from the Wisconsin voters.
