Budget Busting Democrats Announce for State Senate

[MADISON, WI]- Republican Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Ben Sparks released the following statement regarding the announcement of Democrat state senate recall challengers:

“The candidates announced to challenge Republican state senators in potential recall elections are nothing more than conveyor belt Democrats who boast records of fiscal catastrophe. All three supported tax increases of over $5 billion, engaged in out-of-control spending binges which led to Wisconsin’s $3.6 billion budget deficit, and were at the helm as thousands of hard working Wisconsin citizens were let go from their jobs due to massive tax hikes.

“The choice is clear for Wisconsin voters- do we want to continue moving forward under fiscally responsible leadership or do we want to return to the days of deficits, layoffs, and crony partisan politics?”
