We’re currently putting the final preparations together for our 2013 State Convention. We couldn’t be more excited about joining together as Republicans celebrating our victories last year, and laying the groundwork for success in 2014.
In 2012, we protected our Governor and Lieutenant Governor from a baseless recall. We took back control of the State Senate and increased our gains in the State Assembly. With Republicans controlling every level of state government in Wisconsin, now is the time to drive our agenda and continue delivering results for the hard-working taxpayers of our state.
It is because of our strong grassroots that we were able to accomplish so much. Our commonsense conservative message spread to every corner of the Badger State. Voters spoke loud and clear, proving that fiscal sanity and reforms built for a modern economy would resonate. It is the same grassroots that we have invested in once again this year, helping to building our Party and expand our reach in Wisconsin.
We have a full slate of distinguished leaders in our Party will share their vision for our future. Governor Walker, Lieutenant Governor Kleefisch, Congressman Paul Ryan and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus will be onstage, among other Republican leaders, speaking on why we are the Party of real opportunity.
We have so much to be proud of these last two years. Yet, our Party’s best days are still to come. That’s why our investment in 2013 will ultimately assist us in the mid-term elections and beyond. I hope to see you in Wausau, and be sure to follow @wisgop for updates from the convention floor.
